Acceptable User Policy - Allied Health Provider

1.  INTRODUCTION

In this Acceptable User Policy - Allied Health Provider, the following definitions apply:

  • Allied Health Provider Listing means any listing on our site featuring health care services including listings created using the Allied Health Provider Registry;

  • Allied Health Providers means those working in their specialties such as: audiologists, chiropractors, dietitians, exercise physiologists, genetic counsellors, myotherapists, music and play therapists, occupational therapists, orthoptists, orthotists and prosthetists, osteopaths, pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychologists, radiographers (or medical imaging technologists) social workers, sonographers, and speech pathologists.

  • Allied Health Provider Services means the health support services described above and displayed via search in the 'search' tab and linked to and listed on a health service's Detail Page;

  • A booking means a participant's reservation of a specific health care service provided by an Allied Health Provider.

  • Allied Health Provider Profile means a detailed body of data relating to a particular Allied Health Provider. It can be working time, personal information, background information such as hobbies, preferences...

 

  1. This Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider is applicable to your use of the housingnet.com.au Platform to display your registered professional health service on the housingnet.com.au Platform (“the Service”).

  2. This Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider forms part of your agreement with us for the Service.

  3. We may change this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider as set out in the Terms and Conditions for the Service.

  4. We reserve our rights to maintain the quality of listing and profile content on housingnet.com.au by making such directions in relation to modification of content that we consider reasonable in the circumstances. The rules in this Acceptable Use Policy - Allied Health Provider are a list of our requirements. We may direct you to modify content provided that such direction is reasonable in the circumstances.

  5. We may, acting reasonably and in good faith, interpret and apply the rules below in such manner that is appropriate having regard to our need to maintain the quality and integrity of our Platform.

 

2. YOUR OBLIGATIONS

  1. You must comply with the provisions of this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider.
  2. You must only use the Service for the purposes for which it was designed and provided and not for any other purpose including, without limitation any purpose set out in this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider.

  3. You must use the Service in a responsible manner, taking into account the effects your use of the Service may have on other users of the Service and the housingnet.com.au Platform.

 

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

  1. It is acceptable to use the Service for the listing of healthcare services, in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions for the Service and terms of this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider.  

  2. It is acceptable to use Service for receiving a booking along with the approval by Housingnet Administrators.

 

4. NOT ACCEPTABLE USE

  1. NOT ACCEPT advertising your business by text within an avatar picture.

  2.  NOT ACCEPT incorrect information about allied health services.

  3. NOT ACCEPT misuse of fields: Placing irrelevant information in an information, description or picture field of a listing. You must only use the information, description or picture fields for inserting information that is intended for those fields. For example, inserting the name or contact details in your description is not acceptable.

  4. NOT ACCEPT inappropriate watermarks in photos: Inserting any watermark, including the text or branding name in your photo is not acceptable.

  5. NOT ACCEPT Inaccurate photos or images: Showing photos that are unrealistic or not recently provided by you, Or images that are blurred or have lost part of their portrait identity, or show signs of editing. We reserve the right to request you to provide accurate images or not accept inappropriate images.

  6. NOT ACCEPT the image functionality for any unlawful, illegal, malicious, or improper purpose. For example, it is not acceptable to display images that:  may defame or discredit another person or business; may disclose private, personal or confidential information; might be considered obscene, offensive, menacing or abusive; might infringe the intellectual property rights of others; or may violate any law, regulation, standard, content requirements or code promulgated by any relevant authority or industry body.

  7. NOT ACCEPT Borders around photos: Images that are obscured due to borders, or images that are partially or completely covered by other objects, or facial recognition that we believe reduces the quality of the photo. 

  8. NOT ACCEPT  photo or image collages: Displaying a collage or combination of photos or other images within one frame on a listing. 

  9. NOT ACCEPT displaying ‘Lifestyle’ images: Displaying a ‘lifestyle’ photograph, or other image as the image. We will have discretion to determine what constitutes a ‘lifestyle’ image for this purpose.

  10. NOT ACCEPT incorrect street and place names: Using Street names, suburbs or location names that are inaccurate or not officially recognised. For example: stating that a local address is within a neighbouring suburb is not acceptable.

  11. NOT ACCEPT large files: You must ensure that the graphic file submitted by you for your logo is no larger than 25Mb /  picture in memory size.

  12. NOT ACCEPT impersonating other persons: Using the Service in a way that is impersonating another person or persons.

  13. NOT ACCEPT Including hyperlinks or any other form of link or direction to any website or app.

  14. NOT ACCEPT Misleading or deceptive conduct: Using the Service in a way that does or is likely to mislead and deceive the public users of housingnet.com.au. This is the case regardless of what content is considered misleading or deceptive. Without limiting the generality of this restriction, we may deem the following conduct misleading and deceptive.

  15. NOT ACCEPT other inappropriate content for your profile or for write a  review: Using the Service for any unlawful, illegal, malicious or improper purpose or in a way that is inappropriate having regard to our need to maintain the quality of our Platform to ensure a positive experience for consumers. For example: it is not acceptable to, in your use of the Service, display material that:  may defame or discredit another person or business;  may disclose private, personal or confidential information; might be considered obscene, offensive, menacing, or abusive; might infringe the intellectual property rights of others; may violate any law, regulation, standard, content requirements or code promulgated by any relevant authority or industry body.

 

5. BREACHING THIS POLICY

  1. If you use the Service in a way that breaches this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider, you are in breach of your agreement with housingnet.com.au for your use of the Service.

  2. Breaching this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider may result in us taking action to remedy the breach. This might include terminating or suspending your register; deleting a specific listing, deleting an Allied Health service or your profile, not permitting a listing to be uploaded to the site in the first place or any other action that we are permitted to take under our agreement with you and according to law.

  3. For the avoidance of doubt, if we give you notice of a breach or breaches of this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider, we may require you to remedy those breaches AND otherwise become wholly compliant with this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider within the period specified in the notice. We will ensure that any notice period is reasonable having regard to the nature of the breach, the impact on consumers, the need to maintain the integrity of our Platform and the anticipated time required to remedy the breach.

  4. We reserve our rights to take suspension or termination action where:  you are in material breach of any requirement of this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider; or you are in breach of any requirement of this Acceptable Use Policy – Allied Health Provider and fail to remedy that breach within the period specified in such a notice.

  5. Where we suspend or delete listings or listings are prevented from being uploaded due to a breach or attempted breach by you of this Acceptable Use Policy, you will remain liable for your contractual obligations until the date of termination or expiration of your agreement with us
